We will be hosting two milongas on the Beach and Promenade,
weather permitting!

Alum Chine - Bournemouth Beach
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alum Chine has a long and wide beach with fine sand. Ideally
located at the opening to one of Bournemouth's famous Chines,
Alum Chine golden sandy beach is ideal for an entertaining day
out. The beach is gently sloping and sandy, providing safe bathing,
with no sudden shelving or rip currents.

Activities

In addition to the milongas, Visitors can participate in a
wide range of traditional seafront activities.
Alum Chine beach features a good range of facilities including
Beach huts, disabled access, modern children's play area and
paddling pool makes it ideal for families.
The nearby Tropical Gardens provide an oasis of tranquillity in
which to soak up the seafront atmosphere.
There is a restaurant and other facilities next to the beach,
a nearby car park and a paddling pool which is popular with
children.
Alum Chine is a level walk, or short Beach train journey, to
Bournemouth Pier and town centre. A guided walk leaflet
is available from Alum Chine beach office.
Two Milongas on the Beach
The celebration will include two milongas - Open air beach
Matinee Milonga Bucket & Spade and evening Milonga Regina
on the Promenade.
12:00 - 05:00 pm Milonga Bucket & Spade
07:00 - 12:00 pm Milonga Regina

The Milonga is also open to non dancers with or without Bucket & Spade.
This will take place on the beach, Sunday 3rd June from 12:00-5:00pm.

Milonga Regina

As well as the Matinee Milonga, we will also host a second milonga
along West Undercliff Promenade, only a few yards from the beach.
The milonga is for dancers only, from 7:00-12:00p or until the
power runs out, good for 7hours.
